Prescription Testosterone Booster Program
Who is this geared for?
This is program is designed for men experiencing Hypogonadism, aka Andropause or Low-T as some call it, is a result of the naturally occurring decrease in male hormone (testosterone) production with age. As a part of the natural aging process, testosterone levels decrease in men approximately 10% every decade once they have reached their mid-30s.
Testosterone is a hormone that is important for maintaining both sexual drive and performance in men. This is clinically defined as serum Testosterone level less than 300ng/dL (normal is up to 1200 ng/dL). However, some men may experience Low-T symptoms that would necessitate treatment even if the serum testosterone level is higher than 300ng/dL.
What is Clomiphene Citrate?
Clomiphene citrate or "Clomid" is a selective estrogen receptor modulator often used to treat infertility in females. It is used off label in males to encourage more internal testosterone production by antagonizing estrogen production and increasing LH and FSH from the pituitary gland.
Luteinizing hormone (LH) is a hormone which is co-secreted along with follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) by the gonadotrophin cells in the adenohypophysis (anterior pituitary). LH release is stimulated by gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) and inhibited by estrogen in females and testosterone in males. In men, LH causes the Leydig cells of the testes to produce testosterone.
What's the program?
The program consists of daily oral administration of clomiphene citrate which has been clinically proven to elevate the endogenous (your own body's production) serum testosterone and improve the testosterone/estrogen ratio in men.
Although the results vary among individual men, the average increase in testosterone level is 250-300 points while on the medication.
